The meeting will take place in Sala Malliani in the Central building of the University of Milan, located in Via Festa del Perdono 7, very close to the city center.
How to reach the meeting venue
The nearest Metro Station is ‘Missori’, Yellow Line no. 3 (see map here). Other stations nearby are 'Duomo' and 'San Babila', Red Line no. 1. Tickets can be purchased at the machines inside the Metro and cost 1.5 euro.

MILANO MALPENSA (MXP)
Milano Malpensa Airport, a main international hub, is located 40 km northwest of Milano and it is easily connected with Milano City Center by:

MILANO LINATE (LIN)
Milano Linate is located 7 km east of the City Centre and is easily connected with the city by public transportation (bus number 73 direction 'San Babila', very close to the city center).
BERGAMO ORIO AL SERIO (BGY)
Orio al Serio is located 45 km northeast of Milano and handles domestic and International flights, most of them operated by low-cost carriers. A shuttle bus service links Orio al Serio Airport to Milano’s Railway Central Station (‘Stazione Centrale’). The trip takes about 1 hour, depending on the traffic. Accomodation
We advise the participants to book the accommodation at their earliest convenience, noting that the venue is in the center of the city, so availability of places and prices will depend on tourist affluence in this period.
Milano offers a large variety of hotels and bed and breakfast satisfying most of the visitors preferences. Those can be easily checked from travel fare aggregator websites and travel metasearch for lodging reservations such as 'booking.com'.
Weather and climate
The average daily temperature in Milan in this month is 19.5°C, although highs can still reach 25°C, which can feel very hot in Milan's humidity. Luckily, night times are cooler, when the weather drops to an average minimum temperature of 14°C.
