Modeling Nuclear Structure and Reactions

A RESEARCH PROJECT OF INFN NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE 4

Our collaboration considers the interplay between theory and experiment to be of crucial importance. Its members have established an extensive collaboration network with the experimentalists.

In particular, many members play an important role in the activities promoted by/with the INFN National Committee for Nuclear Physics (CSN3):

Some members are active in the European project EURO-LABS which started on September 1, 2022. In particular, the distributed virtual infastructure Theo4Exp will provide theoretical tools for the EuroLabs project as well as on the wider experimental nuclear physics community. It is designed as an open access platform, where key computer codes, as well as results of calculations, will be made accessible to the community.
