Since my bachelor work, I've always developed my research work within the field of astroparticle and multi-messenger astrophysics. In particular, my focus has always been devoted to ultra-high energy phenomena, in particular ultra-high energy cosmic rays. I'm a member of the Pierre Auger Collaboration since 2012 and for this experiment I work mostly on the study of arrival directions, astrophysical implications, detector performances and event reconstruction.
I've obtained my PhD at the Sorbonne Université in Paris, France (formerly UPMC-Paris6). During this period, I have gained a deep knowledge of the Surface Detector of the Pierre Auger Observatory, focusing in particular on the highest energy events, the ones used in the search for small/intermediate scale anisotropies and correlations with astrophysical objects. I'm also member of the inter-collaboration working group with the Telescope Array experiment and with the Antares, IceCube and Telescope Array observatories. In 2016 I worked as a post-doc researcher at TUM in Munich, Germany, in the group of Prof. Elisa Resconi. In collaboration also with Paolo Padovani at ESO, we developed new analysis techniques to search for multi-messenger correlation between UHECRs, gamma-rays from blazars and high energy neutrinos.
