General information
PHYSUN 2008 will be held at the INFN Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso - Assergi, L'Aquila from Thursday October 16th to Friday October 17th, 2008.

Lecture hall
The workshop will take place in the Main Conference Room "E. Majorana" at the LNGS Main Building (Centro Direzionale - see map).

Information for speakers
During the Workshop will be available:
- overhead projectors and video projectors for presentations.
We expect speakers using a powerpoint presentation have also a backup slides which must be used in case of troubles. All talks will be included as quick as possible in the collection of presentations on the Workshop web site. Therefore all speakers must give to the secretariat their slides immediately after their talks; this can be also a file in one of the usual electronic formats (powerpoint, pdf, postscript).

- a wireless connection in the lecture hall.

Registration
Participants will be registered on Wednesday October 15th from 4.00 p.m. till 6.00 p.m.  at the PHYSUN 2008 reception desk, just at the entrance of the Conference room "Ettore Majorana". The registration fee is Euro 150,00 which has to be paid cash at the registration.
Participants are requested to fill in the on-line Registration form as soon as possible and no later than September 20th.

Transportation
For information how to reach L'Aquila see "Travel information". A shuttle service from the hotels "Duca degli Abruzzi" and "Castello" to the L.N.G.S.  and back will be arranged for the start and end of each day's sessions.

Accommodation
Two hotels in L'Aquila (Duca degli Abruzzi and Castello) and two hotels in Assergi, at a walking distance from the L.N.G.S. (Fiordigigli and Cristallo)  have been contacted in order to receive a special rate for the available rooms (see the special rate "Accommodation").

Lunches
Lunches will be served at the LNGS Cafeteria (about Euro 7,13).
