Scientific research
I am Associate
Professor at the Dept.
of Physics of the University
of Milano.
My research activity
is focused on the investigation
of
physical properties of systems and interfaces at the nanoscale using
scanning probe techniques based on Atomic Force Microscopy
(AFM).
I am the scientist in charge of the Scanning Probe Microscopy lab at the Dept. of Physics of the University of Milano. My research activity has developed along two parallel tracks, closely interwoven: the development and implementation of AFM-based techniques and protocols, and their application to the investigation of nanoscale systems.
I have coordinated during 2019-2022 the EU MSCA-ITN Phys2BioMed
project, www.phys2biomed.eu.
