Varenna is located on the eastern
shore of Como lake, 60 Km north of Milano. It is a panoramic position with
a view of the whole lake.
How to reach Varenna:
by car: from Milano, follow the direction to Lecco (s.s.36) and once in Lecco follow the indication to Sondrio (s.s.36). First exit in Abbadia Lariana and then drive for about 15 Km. After Fiumelatte, before the tunnel turn left to Varenna.
by train: from the main railways station Milano Centrale take a train to Sondrio or Tirano (trenitalia), you will reach Varenna in about 1 hour.
