Please describe your problem in the best possible detail. Specify the host name, user name, operating system and describe the problem accurately.
We always need notification via e-mail. It is however possible to contact the Computing Services personnel also via the helpdesk line 17313.
The helpdesk telephone is attended in person on each workday, from 9.30 to 13.00, and serviced by an answering machine outside these times. The answering machine is checked several times during the day.
Please make note of these times, amd limit the use of the telephone line to urgent problems. Contact via e-mail is more efficient and preferred.
Users are encouraged not to come directly to the IT Support personnel with problems. Arrangements can be made via e-mail or telephone, as described.
The IT Support personnel is obviously available at any time for problems of motivated urgency.
